Pretty in Pink
Has anyone used this textbook in their literature studies? It's on my list of possible 9th grade lit. resources but I don't know who recommended it.
ilanao
I just bought this, plus the teacher's edition for 10th grade. I also have the Prentice Hall TeacherExpress CDs with the online lesson plans, exams, and worksheets. I've only leafed through it, but it is a good selection of materials from ancient to modern times. I also like that it correlates well with the World History that we are doing this year. I also bought the Writing & Grammar Platinum because the lesson plans refer to the book for exercises and writing at the end of each section. My son's grammar skills are excellent, but I think the writing guides will be useful. I didn't want to shell out for the student book because I didn't think we would use it too often, so we'll just manage with the tiny print in the teacher's edition. Pretty in Pink
Thanks. It helps to know how others are using these materials and what they are using in conjunction with them, particularly the writing/grammar.
