AKamp Posted July 5, 2012 Share Posted July 5, 2012 I would like to use the workbox system with 4 kids. Should I invest in 4 carts with drawers, or have DH build something (wood) with slots? I'm wondering if I would want the cart so the kids could roll it to wherever they are, if that's even realistic. On the other hand, the custom one from DH would be cheaper. WWYD? Amy Jo Posted July 5, 2012 Share Posted July 5, 2012 I'd go wood with slots. I've had the 10-drawer, multicolored carts with the wheels. Mine was REALLY flimsy, and the drawers didn't slide well. I use the sterlite drawers now - 3 drawers per unit, they are 12x12 so plenty of space for books & binders to lie flat. If I started over, I'd make custom wood units with IKEA style drawers.
