A home for their hearts
We are about to start chapter 3 in SOTW 1 and I would like to find some fiction/non-fictions books for read alouds and for readers. Any suggestions? Thanks
starlashine
A friend and I really loved this when I was a kid. My son and I just did the activity in SOTW AG, but this set comes with a book that explains a bit more. HTH
Once
We used the Hieroglyphs book from Veritas Press. It had a template in the back to make your own words and letters. My kids loved it! For what I remember it was also very cheap.
Osaubi
This was a long read-aloud for our house, but my ds6 loved it. Egyptian diary : the journal of Nakh Platt, Richard I thought this book was cool but didn't fit into the age group at our house The 5,000-year-old puzzle : solving a mystery of ancient Egypt Logan, Claudia This was a big hit in our house as are all Magic School Bus books Ms. Frizzle's adventures : Ancient Egypt Cole, Joanna We really liked this story. It is a story from Ancient Egypt times. The shipwrecked sailor : an Egyptian tale with hieroglyphs Bower, Tamara. We checked out a lot more but these were the ones that came to mind.
