LisaKinVA
Most of the negative things about soy I've read have to do with GMO soy, and soy "products" found in processed foods. I know this can be a contentious subject for some... My family is NOT 100% Paleo. We *do* consume legumes & grains AND dairy (fresh milled, organic grains...and organic beans I make from the dried state). I want to know about organic, non-GMO soy. Soy is not our only (or even close to main) source of protein. I currently use a soy "mush" as part of our smoothies, to bump up the protein content. A typical "smoothie" for 5 kids includes: 1 cup soy mush, 1 cup Kifer (whole-milk, homemade), 2 c. OJ, 2 bananas, 8 strawberries, 1/2 c. blueberries, 1 TBLS dehydrated, powdered spinach. We have variations on this theme, but this is the most-often used variety. Thank you.
