I am finding both the 1997 (McGee) and the 2nd edition (Geisen) of Teaching Companies "How to Become a SuperStar Student" for sale and am wondering which will be better for us. Does anyone have a preference?

I have an upcoming 10th grader who needs help with organization and adapting to high school demands. I don't believe latest is necessarily greatest. . . I live overseas so by the time I get the one edition, if it's not helpful, it will be too late to order the other for this summer.
