SonshineLearner
25 degrees less and faster... How much faster, I'm not sure. BUT, it's more even :) (cuz of the air whooshing around) I really love mine, and wouldn't choose to purchase an oven without. :)
ProudGrandma
I just bought one in a toaster oven. I put a pan of brownies in...the recipe called for 30 minutes...but after 20 minutes, they were still soft in the middle. A toothpick came out clean, but when I move the pan the middle moves...so I am not sure what to do...thoughts???
KatieJ
By now I am sure your brownies are out of the oven. Ihave a toaster convection that I just love! I usually go with a temp setting of 25 degrees lower and start with a timer of 25 percent less than recommended. You can always bake things longer at that point. Brownies are the one thing that don't seem to follow that rule. An 8x8 pan bakes in 15 - 18 mins in my oven! We do like them very moist and not overbaked at all. Pies and bread don't bake very well in there either. Pies tend to have burnt crusts when they come out and same for Banana bread. However, If you bake the one loaf of banana bread in 2-3 smaller pans, that works better. I love doing baked potatoes, fish, casseroles etc in there. I rarely turn on my big oven any more.
