Princess Peach
Kindle Fire's latest update includes parental controls. This is great, HOWEVER, my DS's Fire all of a sudden asked for a parental control password that I had not set up. It was NOT the same as my Amazon password. I had no choice but to reset his Fire to factory defaults. He lost everything and has to reload all his apps. But no data was saved. Ugh! So if you have a Fire, I suggest you set up a parental control password just in case. If you do not want parental controls on, you can then shut it off. Better safe than sorry! KellyGirl
Thanks for this! I have spent the last several months regretting the purchase of a Fire for my ds13 because there weren't any parent controls. I'll have to set a password and upgrade his Fire this afternoon.
