andreainia
I am looking for a math supplement to use with my 7 year old son over the summer. We are finishing up Horizons 1 and like it, but he is needing more practice on his addition and subtraction facts over the summer. We're expecting a baby in June, so more independent rather than teacher-intensive would be great. Any suggestions?
maizeydaizey
We are using Horizons 1 - and for summer I picked up a book on story problems from Kumon and she'll be working on the website Xtramath to work on mastery as a game.
SilverMoon
Maybe a free drill site like XtraMath? It only takes five minutes a day. We just start the new book at a slower pace when summer gets busy.
Professormom
Non-tech: flash cards Tech: flash master or math shark or a tablet-type app. Good luck!
