mum
Has anyone used any good budgeting tools for teens? Online, CD ROM, book, I don't mind what. I'd love to hear what has worked for your family. Thanks
Lily_Grace
We're still using familymint.com here as an intro to online banking. It's a pretend bank but we use it to correspond with real allowance. Online he can set up his goals and budget categories so he can see it all in one place. He has a real savings account that matches the fake one, too. I figure once he gets to be about 15 we'll do Financial Peace University for Teens and get hardcore about budgeting - giving him lump sums to buy his clothes and school needs, getting him more active in the family budget, things like that.
