merry gardens Posted December 14, 2011 Share Posted December 14, 2011 Given the handful of people (family) who read my blog, no, I'm not worried if you mean some nutso coming after us. The odds are still strongly in favor of any danger to my kids honestly coming from someone I know, or random violence rather than some stalker from online. Yes, but some people have those "nutso" as family members and aquaintences. Having personal information out there on a blog makes it easier for the known weirdos to keep track of details of your daily life they might not easily discover without making themselves obvious enough to draw your attention and put you on guard. I knew someone irl who went to jail for creepy crimes. I'm not so much worried about the total strangers--I'm more worried about the strange people I may already know!
