mom2agang
Ancient history for grades 2-6 besides SOTW? Or favorite readers or activity books?
C&R
This may be an unpopular answer on here but my favorite ancient history spine is the Bible. It is actually what MFW uses as their history spine in their ancient studies in CTG and is what most attracted me to them. (For anyone who happens to remember my thread on MFW versus SL - do people remember these things? I sometimes seem to remember such things. I did decide to continue with MFW as my main curriculum, and continue to bring in SL books as I have been doing prior to the thread.) Other option that I like: Mystery of History. The writing isn't as strong or solid as SOTW but I like how she approaches the subject and integrates the Bible into History. I hope this helps.
