My son was having ulcers due to the stress of being bullied in 2nd grade by the 5th graders. Now (8 years later) we homeschool for so many reasons. I want my children to be leaders and thinkers. I want them to explore and create without the fear of ridicule. I want them to have time to pursue their own interests. I want to teach them history and science that includes God rather than excludes Him. Homeschooling has become almost organic (if you will) for us. It's just the way we do life at this point. I love living, learning, working and playing with my kids.
