online math fact tracking

I am looking for something like Quarter Mile Math but online and maybe that I do not have to purchase.. :001_smile:

 

I would like something that would help with learning the math facts, testing them and recording the journey so I know how the kiddos are doing...

 

Is there anything out there??

ALEKS does this when you sign up for a course, but it's $20 per month. Sorry, that's the only one I know of!

This might not be what you want, but you could look at beestar.org. There's a paid section and a free section. We've done the free thing for a while and dd likes it. Parents get a tracking page for results.

I'm not familiar with Quarter Mile. but the summer between 2nd and 3rd grade, my dd used mathscore.com. Don't know if it's what you are looking for, but it worked wonders for her.

 

There are not a lot of bells and whistles, so it's not "video game" style. And it is a "timed" thing. I wasn't sure she'd like it, because she hated "timed tests",but she loved it and went from really struggling to completing the "timed tests" for addition, subtraction, multiplication, AND division. When we started, she couldn't do 25 addition facts in less than 3 minutes!

 

There is a fee (I think it is $15 per month). BUT they give 30 day free trial. We signed up for the free trial, but since she was doing so well, I paid for an additional 2 months. Once she had it "down" I cancelled. But I do plan to use it with future children if needed.
