Joanne
The first is about my faith journey and how my seminary career interacts with it. I am using the literary technique of "conceit"; comparing my faith journey to a crazy quilt.:D It's all coming together. So cool. Joanne
It sounds very interesting. I like your approach....should make for a good read. It actually came together while I was preparing to teach. :) My US Lit class is covering Colonial/Puritan literature. We did the poem "Huswifery" which uses conceit; Edwards compares his relationship with God to a Spinning Wheel. Last semester, I had an integrative paper in Intro to Christian spirituality do do. It.would.not.come.together. This semester explained why. It all makes sense now. 84 Days!
