threeturn
In an effort to save money and eat healthier, I have been experimenting with making our own cereal (along with expanding our breakfast options). The bran flakes I made actually went over really well, but the pairing with my normal granola recipe was just "eh." Does anyone have a sweet granola recipe that clumps together? DH's favorite cereal is raisin bran crunch, so I am going for something like that. Thanks! Pam
julikins
:bigear: I am needing to make my own cereal as well, because I can't buy it here in Brazil and we miss it! Would love to hear your recipes!
desiraejb
This is our favorite recipe: http://stonegable.blogspot.com/2010/05/stonegable-granola.html I don't know how you'd get it to clump together, though. Maybe add some honey or more oil? I've always wondered, but have never experimented.
~Tara~
Here's what I use: http://myrecipebox.wordpress.com/2007/03/22/crunchy-granola-bits/ I'm always tweaking, but that's the base anyway.
