starwarsmomma
My 6th grade son has read every book on Hank Zipzer, and loved them. This is a boy who HATES reading with a passion and he will read those over and over. He keeps begging for another series of books similar to the Hank Zipzer series. About a boy his age, a little comedy but alot of value of friendships, etc.... He will NOT read anything with witchcraft, dragons, magic, sorcery, werewolves, vampires, multiple god's -- vs the One true God, etc... He just refuses those (which is great with me, because I don't want them in my home anyway!) While we have a few books that meet his criteria, he is craving a book with a series so he can read more than one. He becomes attached to characters and likes to read more about them. Any suggestions?
LanaTron
The Redwall books? Not similar to the ones you mentioned, but my ds loved those at that age. He says there's no magic, etc., in them (I haven't read any of them myself).
