yellowperch
DS9 has finished FLL3 but will be using MTC Town level for grammar this year. What I will miss is diagraming, which he enjoyed (sort of) as well. We picked up a copy of RexBarks, but I was hoping to find something daily-type diagraming work to put in his independent work file to keep that skill alive (MTC doesn't require diagraming). Thank you.
Spy Car
Could you just diagram the daily sentences in Practice Town? I have been wondering about adding this myself. Bill
yellowperch
Yes, I suppose I could, Bill. Why didn't I think of that?
Spy Car
Yes, I suppose I could, Bill. Why didn't I think of that? I just diagramed the first eight sentences in Grammar Island. This is not a skill I ever learned in school, so it is largely new to me, but it strikes me as a good idea. The MCT style parsing is something I see great value in learning, and I have to think that diagramming the same sentences could another layer of visualization to the grammar. I wonder what Mr Thomson's thoughts are on the matter? I imagine the question must have been posed to him more than once. Bil
