warriormom
I think I have decided on write source and growing with grammar. Which books should i buy? I am trying to figure out if i can cut corners to save money. Just do not want to buy only part and that it would be useless or lacking vital info. swimmermom3
What do you want to accomplish with Write Source and for what grades?
ProudGrandma
the books they offer for GWG are the books you need. They don't offer anything "useless"....believe me I don't buy anything useless either...I dont' have any extra money for that.
warriormom
I am looking for a program like kindergarten public school /journaling. My son is going to a classical school. I do not know whether public school is in our future. I just do not want him to get behind especially since boys tend to struggle with writing. So what do you suggest I buy? ChrissySC
As for Write Source - are you using the handbook/skillsbook/TM or the grade-level books? If so, the skillsbook is for editing and proofing, so you will not need that if using GWG. I would get the student and teacher's for your level or the handbook to span the sixth to eighth grade. FYI, I purchased the syllabus from Hewitt for writing - using the Writer's Express and Write Source handbooks. I use this with Writing Strands. :)
