Carolina3 Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 My ds 6 (who is dyslexic) will be in first grade next year. He's currently working thru the Wilson program so that covers his reading and spelling. He is only at a CVC level at the moment (short syllables). My question is whether I should include a grammar curriculum and/or a vocabulary one for next year. I don't want to miss anything but I also don't want to overwhelm him if he isn't quite ready for something. With where he's at with his reading, would you introduce these concepts or wait? Thanks!
