Having not seen the classroom texts, I can only speak second hand from what I have read. The classroom texts are to be, or are already, redesigned to meet the needs of the typical public school math text. There will be changes as to how the content is layed out, approached, and tested. I believe the understanding is that it will be a less rigorous approach. Perhaps it will be, and maybe it will/is just different.
