Guest angelsgen4
I have my third child beginning the Rhetoric Stage next year. The first two eat books for lunch, they read so much. But the other two aren't so enthralled with reading. The third one is currently reading Anne of Green Gables and in total it will have taken her nearly a month to read it. It's not that she doesn't have the skills, she doesn't have the desire. On the other hand, the first book that she REALLY got excited about reading was The Last Days of Socrates by Plato. I am concerned about putting her through the Reading intensive Great Books course from WTM. She could hate it, or suddenly grow to love reading because there are actually interesting things in it. Any thoughts? thanks, Nadeen
