Spelling question

Recommended Posts

Sounds like she might be a naturally good speller. For them, you can use just about any program that catches your fancy. And don't be mastered by the curriculum. If it works for her to just write the words a few times and she knows them, then don't make her do the busy work in the spelling book. If the workbook pages help, then have her do them. For my dd, I just write all the words down on index cards, and we flashcard them every day (She looks at each word, says it, spells it, says it -- while looking at the card, for two or three days, then on the day before the test, I quiz her outloud on all the words. Written test on Friday. No other busy work. That's what works for us.

I was looking at sequential spelling......and it says to start in book 1...but I wasn't sure if that would be repetitive?
