susancollins
My husband who never get sick was sick last week. My daughter has tested postive for the Flu. My midwife prescribed me Tamiflu. I am starting to feel sick what should I expect with the flu while being pregnant. I am worried about it being a category 3 drug. Thanks in advance! indigomama
I was prescribed Tamiflu while pregnant with DD. I took it once and was so sick I decided I'd rather have the flu! The flu only lasted for a few days. We're all fine now, a little over a year later. Hope you all feel better soon.

Karen in StL
Three of us took Tamiflu. My son & I ended up just fine. My husband didn't fare well however. Almost as soon as he started taking it, he started having neurological side effects. He ended up in intensive care for a week bc his body systems were out of whack. Later he was transferred to a psych unit for a week. An otherwise docile man became violent & had hallucinations. He is now fine. Thousands of dollars & many tears later, there was no diagnosis. Do yourself a favor & google tamiflu neurologic or japanese tamiflu. After what we went through, I would never ever recommend this for anyone. FWIW, my daughter didn't take the tamiflu & recovered on the same timeline as my son & I from the flu.
