hmschooln
I asked this on the K-8 board and was told I should ask here. I love the look of Trisms but for some reason when I look at IEW I break out into a could sweat:confused: so can you use Trisms without IEW? How hard would it be to replace it with something else? Thanks.:001_smile: If it makes a difference I'm looking at using History Makers for 7th and 8th, taking longer to go over things in a little more depth and then using their other courses through high school. Any input would be greatly appreciated. :001_smile:
Blue Lilac Studio
Our family just started using the Expansion of Civilizations and we're not using IEW. It's not difficult at all to skip the IEW portions. I'm using it with kids that are 8th and 6th. So far we love it!

hmschooln
Any other info anyone can give me about Trisms? It's such a relief to know I can skip IEW and to hear they are good for high school. What are most of the complaints about History Makers? My original plan was to do it over to years 7th and 8th that way we could take more time and go more in depth.
mymonkeybug
As I too am looking to begin TRISMS History Makers, I was told by an avid user who has a TRISMS co-op, that you should infact make HM a two year ordeal.
