Teaching_Three Posted February 8, 2011 Share Posted February 8, 2011 I am looking for an inexpensive duplexing printer. Can you tell me what you use? I'm leaning towards a brother but I have heard so many mixed reviews about them, I'm very nervous to purchase. I know that whatever I get will more than likely be ordered online since thats where I have seen the best deals. Amy Jo Posted February 9, 2011 Share Posted February 9, 2011 I have a Brother HL-5250DN (black & white, duplexes, has a network as well as USB connection). I bought it at Staples (it was on sale). I like it. When it says the toner is empty it's not. I've had to wind back a little gear they stick on the toner cartridge. Sometimes I have to turn it off for a while (it will flash all lights, but be fine when I turn it back on). Otherwise (99% of the time) it's a great printer. I think I've had it for 2 or 3 years now.
