cam112198
Does anyone like Saxon better? Do you think it explains concepts better?
Guest
We HATE Saxon math. It is confusing, the paper is terrible, too thin to erase, too much to do everyday, and the copying of so many problems is prone to making switches of numbers or signs. CLE does a MUCH better job explaining concepts and keeping the workload balenced. We also like that it is write-in as mine have trouble copying numbers correctly. cam112198
Thank you! We tried Saxon when we first started homeschooling. I liked it, but couldn't stand teaching it. We switched to CLE and have been with it ever since. There is so much more teaching instruction in Saxon that I sometimes wonder if I am missing something, KWIM? katemary63
We love and use Saxon. I find it easy to use and understand. We do every other Warm Up and Mixed Practice, thus reducing the number of problems. I trust it to teach my kids what they must know to excell in math. I don't know anything about CLE
