Our 16yo dd has an interest in it and we wanted to get her something to play around with. Therefore, it needed to be able to perform but not be outrageously expensive in case this is just a phase LOL. I think it was around $80 to $90 some odd dollars. He chose Sony's Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum. He said that it got the best overall reviews. I just asked dd and she said she is pretty sure it has green screen capabilities. She is still learning and playing with it, so she's not 100% certain. It has a video tutorial with it on dvd which dd really loves because ithe program is really in-depth after playing around with Windows Movie Maker :D Hope that helps.
