trying my best
I am "hearing" that I am getting All About Spelling for Christmas this year for my kids :) My in-laws like the idea of giving a gift by parts so on my birthday (a week ago) i got All About Spelling magnets. And i know there would be Teachers book and Student package coming along on Christmas :) So I started reading about this program more and there is a test kids can take to see if they are level 1 or 2 now. My son (he turned 5 last September) took the test (4 sentences) and passed without mistakes - which means he is Level 2 :) But I will still start with Level 1 when the books come :) Just wanted to share :)
Crimson Wife
I'm finishing up Level 1 with my K5 student and I'd say your DS will likely fly through it. The spelling part is too easy for my DS but he didn't know all the various sounds of the phonograms plus he could use the writing practice so I started him there. :)

Just for the reviewing everything and keep it fresh in his head.
