gsanmb Posted December 11, 2010 Share Posted December 11, 2010 Hi all, I'm looking to supplement my 2nd grader's vocabulary work. I have seen Wordly Wise and don't like it much. I'm looking for something that has some kind of coherent, systematic approach to vocabulary. Not random words that appear to be chosen from thin air. Also it would be good if it wasn't deadly boring! :001_huh: My 2nd grader enjoys workbooks and the feeling of working through a page successfully, so I like to supplement her with these. We do a ton of reading, copywork and narration, etc. so she does get exposure to a lot of vocabulary. This is extra but I'd still like it to be worthwhile and a quality element of our curriculum.
