Geography like in "The Core" what map to use

What are you using and where can I find it?

We have the placemats that are world maps, and I used a Sharpie to trace the 5 great circles (equator, tropics, arctic, antarctic), as well as a SIMPLIFIED outline of the continents like this:

I also bought a HUGE world map from an office supply store and drew the same simplified outlines on that and hung it over our stairway landing.
