ChristineW Posted November 22, 2010 Share Posted November 22, 2010 I loved Anna K and War & Peace as translated by Pevear and Volokhonsky; I remembered reading Anna K in college with the Constance Garnett translation and liking it as well. I've been a little intimidated by Dostoyevsky, but really want to try Crime and Punishment or the Brothers K. Which do you recommend to start with? Any preferred translations?
