MyLittleWonders
Has anyone backed up Latin for Children A (or maybe Latina Christiana 1) with another year of Lively Latin book 1 for reinforcement before moving on to LfC B or another second year Latin program? We are currently moving through LfC A with a 4th grader and 2nd grader. But I'm not sure if moving on to LfC B would be a good idea next year without really making sure the first year stuff is really learned. But, I don't want to repeat LfC A. So, I was thinking doing a year of LL book 1 (or even accelerating it and doing a half year and then starting LfC B in the 2nd half of next year) as reinforcement. Does that sound crazy? Is there another option? When I was deciding on a Latin program, it was down to LfC and LL and I chose LfC because I like the DVD component and the company. But, I also liked a lot about LL. Would it be too repetitive? Any advice from those who have used both programs?
Bloggermom
My 9 year old daughter is using Lively Latin right now and I really want to reinforce everything and give her a solid foundation. I am actually considering adding in Latin for Children A and have her do a bit of both each day so they work with each other.
