My dd was offered a part time job at a supermarket. She is 16 and dual enrolling.

 

They would like her to be available during normal school hours. They mentioned something about a Florida Child Labor Law wavier, but was not sure it will apply to us. My dd looked the wavier application up online and it indicates that we need acknowledgement from the school district of our 'intent to homeschool'. It also mentions that parents need to present a notarized statement as to which days/hours our dd receives homeschool instruction.

 

Have any of you had experience with this?
