I need help with a hairstyle

Recommended Posts

I have always had short hair. I need an update and all I can find is this picture of myself, so don't make fun of me. I have a pretty square jaw, so I don't know what to do. A bob cut makes me look like a bulldog. I am thinking of growing out the bangs but wonder about the high forehead. I do hate having hair in front of my eyes. Any ideas? Currently I need a hair cut if I keep this same style. I have layered hair long enough to cover my ears. Usually I tuck my hair behind my ears to keep it off of my cheeks.

I think you should try growing it out a little--maybe jaw length or so? Maybe as far as your neck. HTH--I bet you'll get better advice in the AM.

You have a face shape similar to Mary Tyler Moore- how about a modified Laura Petrie style? Longer, sideswept bangs, and a longer bob, past the jaw line. Sort of Jackie- O. It's sophisticated and casual. Well, how 'bout that? Hmmm? :)
