Bostonian Posted September 17, 2010 Share Posted September 17, 2010 Having used the "What Your Xth-grader Needs to Know" books with my eldest son, I just bought the book Books to Build On: A Grade-by-Grade Resource Guide for Parents and Teachers Core Knowledge Series (1996) by E. Does this book include high school years, or is it just for elementary? When we were doing the books, they said they were going to be coming out with 7th and 8th grade books to add to the series. We waited and waited, and checked and checked, but they never came to be. It's not a reference book, it's just got a small blurb about a lot of different topics that everyone should know at least something about. I had planned on completing this book before high school, but her school requirements were more than I had anticipated, and it remains unused. :tongue_smilie: Maybe this year ...
