Annabel Lee
So now I can quit bugging you all incessantly. ;) Thanks for all your patience, time, and shared knowledge/experiences; especially Heather (siloam). It feels like a weight is lifted off me! Orders have been placed & it's final!! WOOT WOOT! For my 9yo, whom I don't want to hold back but who is still solidifying some younger-level skills, I've chosen these to bridge the gap: Writing Tales 1 & 2, skipping anything too easy - this will help bridge him to CW later on and has some vocab Latin - we'll start at the beginning, probably w/ Prima or Lively. This will also cover vocab & fulfill my desire for a "roots program". Changed my decision from SWO to Megawords - why had I never looked at it?!? It's EXACTLY where he's at & what he needs. This will replace what I'm using now for "harder, at-level spelling words" alongside AAS (which is for all the rules). Adios, "babyish" (his word) lower-grade phonics workbooks! Typing - we'll test drive the free online programs to 1) see if it even fits into our day and 2) see if a free one will work just as well before buying anything. :grouphug: I <3 this forum!
