Teachin'Mine
for Latin? Dd doesn't like large dictionaries, but something small that is easy to flip through, and yet has enough entries would be great. She's using Henle Latin and it was suggested that she get one. If anyone wants to ask about dictionaries for other languages, please feel free. :)
Kareni
Hello again, Teachin'Mine, The Bantam New College Latin & English Dictionary, Revised Edition by John Traupman was recommended by my daughter's out of the home Latin instructor. My daughter has continued to use it now that she's in college planning on majoring in Latin. The print is legible and the book is a standard paperback size. It's reasonably priced too at about $6.00. Kareni
I hope it proves useful to your daughter, Teachin'Mine. Another book that my daughter has found helpful over time is 501 Latin Verbs. Regards, Kareni
