Susan in KY
Is Standards all that much more difficult than the US edition? I just downloaded the standards exit tests for 4A/4B for my ds, and it's got a bunch of stuff I don't recall covering with him in the US Edition: graphing co-ordinates, graphing y=2x+1, tessellated figures, advanced geometry, etc. I don't think we ever went over the three types of triangles and which was symmetrical on a rotating line of symmetry, for example. Ack!
Dana
From what I've read on the Singapore site, I don't think the Standards edition is much more difficult, but there definitely are differences in the scope & sequence. I'd recommend giving the US edition test rather than the Standards test. If you were going to switch editions, the recommendation is to switch after a B book instead of between A and B.
