MomOfOneFunOne
1 -- My daughter is a horse lover and takes riding lessons. Her lessons are every other week with a highschool girl in our hs group who is a lovely, grace-filled example of Catholic modesty, kindness . . . just you name it. When we set up these lessons, I asked that she also give my girl reading or research homework (not papers due or anything, though). 2 -- My daughter has awful handwriting. I read a while back that one way to strengthen those muscles and exercise the physical mechanism that will improve writing is coloring detailed pictures with very sharp colored pencils. So, putting these together, I thought I'd like to find an educational horse coloring book or two or three that I can give the riding teacher and my daughter. The teacher can assign pages and my girl can work on them improving her knowledge of horse anatomy, breeds, tack, equipment, et c. while also improving her handwriting. What I need are resources. What are some really good books that will cover the above? Oh, my girl is 11.

MomOfOneFunOne
Thanks, Heather! Do you have these or have you seen them? Dover was actually the first place I looked but they don't have any sample pages and only one of them has a TOC. I can see that one of them covers about all the breeds I can think of but I'd like anatomy and tack, too. I just can't tell if the others cover those or not. Do you know?
