jenL
We'll be heading through Louisville and stopping there for one night. I've searched hotels and there is the east area, airport area, and downtown area. What would you suggest?
OrganicAnn
Are you going to visit anything while in town or just looking for something close to your route? Things to see - Museums (Louisville Slugger, Science Museum, Muhammad Ali Museum)? Churchill Downs? I used to live in Louisville and I know there are other WTMers in Louisville too. Feel free to PM me. Edited July 8, 2010 by OrganicAnn
rwjx2khsmj
We live in the Louisville metro area. What interstate will you be traveling on? Are you stopping to see things or just wanting to have a decent place to sleep and be on your way? If you have specific questions feel free to pm me. Margo out of lurking
We drove through on I-64 three summers ago and stayed at Comfort Suites on Resource Way in Louisville. The staff was wonderful, and my kids enjoyed the pool. Although we were just driving through, I recall the hotel as being out in the suburbs in a very nice area. We chose it because it was close to the highway, the price was good (<$100), it allowed pets, and we typically enjoy Comfort Inns/Suites. And they have free breakfasts, that's always a huge plus. :)
