LoriM
It depends what you mean by combine. My Dds used at least 3 or 4 different science textbooks for each of their courses, but they certainly did a reasonable amount of work, not everything in every book. Some sources have clearer explanations than others.
Handmaiden
I've considered it but have decided it's overkill. :001_smile: (The Miller/Levine text is over 1000 pages by itself!) That said, I did want to have ds read Christian content as a counterpoint to the Miller/Levine text. I am having him read Evolution Exposed: Biology (a reference index to all topics in the Miller/Levine topic is available as a free download). I am also getting the Apologia Companion CD because my ds enjoys the multimedia extras. I may get the text for the home library, which he would read for pleasure just because he's a science geek! I think it's easier to supplement one or the other than to combine both. YMMV! Is there a reason why you want to combine both programs?
