carol
My son is very hands on and we just finished Aleks middle school math. Not sure if he has covered all topics for pre-algebra or not. Think he's in between. He is bright but gets bored easily. Does LOF keep the child's attention and is there a placement test? Thanks

Guest Cheryl in SoCal
I have just started using LOF (yesterday) so I will refrain from commenting on the curriculum itself. However, I suggest that you email the author regarding placement. He is very nice and responded to my questions promptly:001_smile: He suggested that my boys start with Pre-Algebra 1 and then do Pre-Algebra 2 (due out in a couple of months) even though they are almost done with MUS Algebra 1. I already owned Pre-Algebra 1 and planned to buy Pre-Algebra 2 (because I have younger children I would use them with if I didn't use them with my older children) and he knew that so I know he didn't suggest that in order to sell me books.
