FlockOfSillies Posted April 14, 2010 Share Posted April 14, 2010 OK, y'all, I saw those threads where people were raving about K12's Human Odyssey, so I ordered those to look at them for next year. If I use K12, what should I use to fill in more details on American history? What I'd love is something like Lightning Lit, but for American history -- an open-and-go schedule, assignments, review questions, maybe some quizzes. World history will remain our spine, but I don't want to completely gloss over American history. Would All American History be overkill? (I tried TOG Yr2, so I KNOW overkill, LOL.) We've got quite a few books in our home library to supplement American history, including the Genevieve Foster books. Is there anything else out there that would do the job? What do you love?
