happyhomemaker25
I thought in WTM there was a list of catagories of books to check out from the library. I have looked and looked for the list and can't find it. Does anyone have it on hand? It was like pick one book from biography, one book from science,.... nukeswife
I have the newest edition and it's on the bottom of page 6 in the Prologue, it's the last full sentence in the last paragraph. Oops, I guess I could have just posted the list too. 1 science book 1 history book 1 art or music appreciation book 1 practical book (craft, hobby, or "how to") 1 biography or autobiography 1 classic novel or adaptation suited to age 1 imaginative storybook 1 book of poetry and then any other books of the child's interest as long as the ones above have been selected. happyhomemaker25
Thanks! :001_smile: I really appreciate that. We were wanting to implement it for our older girls especially this week and I have not been able to find the section in the older book. We recently had our WORST trip to the library ever when I tried to implement this. It was one of those *pull-out-your-hair-because-you-otherwise-would-throttle-your-children* days. Here I go skipping into the library thinking about how much fun it will be to find books in these catagories that interest us and all I got was whining "do we haaaaavvvvvvveee toooooooooooo:crying:" :banghead: We got them but I just did not understand the resistance. It's not like I said they couldn't have their normal choices IN ADDITION to these selctions. It just doesn't always go smoothly, does it!:tongue_smilie:
