KarenNC
I saw on the Singapore Math website that the new standards edition adds back in content from Singapore 2nd edition that was dropped in the 3rd (and US) editions. Can anyone speak to their experiences with the 2nd edition?
AngieW in Texas
I don't think Singapore was distributed in the US before the 3rd edition. The only differences between 3rd edition and US edition were the addition of English measurement, changing to US notation for things like time and decimals, showing US money, and changing some of the more obscure (for Americans) puzzle answers from things like "jackfruit" to things like "pineapple". I have never seen the 2nd edition.
Sandy in Indy
They also changed a lot of the names in the US edition...which was too bad. We enjoyed Singapore names!
