Gwen in VA
for Naval Architecture? Ds2 is dreaming of going there. It is TEENY (70 students total -- not per class!) so I think there is some chance they haven't bumped into a homeschooler yet, but before I give them a call I thought I would ask! Gwen in VA
This thread should be called "Avoiding thinking about ds1 and his college options and moving right along to ds2....."
Anne/Ankara
I don't know about the Webb Institute, but I remember that the University of Michigan has a program in Naval Architecture. The advantage there would be the size of the school (and the ability to take advantage of other courses/disciplines). And I lived in Ann Arbor-- it's a neat college town! http://www.engin.umich.edu/dept/name/
Gwen in VA
Thank you for the recommendation. It certainly seems odd that a school in Michigan has a naval architecture program, but U. Mich is a really good school, so we will look into it! Thanks!
