kangato3 Posted January 19, 2010 Share Posted January 19, 2010 I'm just starting Check the Deck (3/4) with my 3rd grader, and I think it's very nicely laid out. Each chapter starts out with some oral work, teaches a style technique and a skill, has some short writing practices, and then ends with a full writing assignment.
