I am waiting for my book (interlibrary loan) and it is taking FOREVER! I am tempted to just order one. . . I'd appreciate any help you can give :) Ordinary Parent's Guide to Teaching Reading (phonics) First Language Lessons (grammar, some copywork) Writing with Ease (writing, copywork also) Spelling workout was recommended in the older version of TWTM, Rod and Staff stuff was recommended. Bob Books, for reading beginners, and real books (actual books, not "reading" books).
GaHadley
I guess I'm wondering what topics to cover. . . I forgot about grammar. . . sorry I wasn't very clear. Once I figure out what I'm supposed to teach, then I'll start picking your brains for what to teach it with LOL thanks :)
Sara in WA
Just order WTM! You'll get it sooner than later and then not have to return it :) That way you can get thorough answers to your questions.
