Joanne
First, I know for a fact that I do best on a high(ish) protein diet style vs. a carb or grain based one. I know one of the authors was a known vegetarian author, so I've been surprised to read the flexitarian ideas in the book. I can't afford WW right now and I have to eat from my pantry and sales due to extreme finincial constraints. I'm not far into the book but so far, it seems like a breath of fresh air and a sensible, reasonable, do-able and sustainable approach. The incremental steps to wholesome change seem sane. The counter-approach to the current food pyramid seems spot on. I probably will do better with more animal protein than what they recommend, but it doesn't seem to require a bit adjustment to fit the ideas. Any experience with it?
