Melissa in St Louis
Can anyone reccommend a good magic set for a 7yr old boy? Maybe one that has a teaching DVD? I am looking at the Melissa and Doug sets right now. TIA!
NicksMama-Zack's Mama Too
His first kit was a Marshall Brodine kit from Target. Here's a description and online vendor: http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=171020&catid=143227 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002T11WE6/ref=asc_df_B002T11WE6980493?smid=A2UILHLLDUMCAM&tag=dealtmp5474-20&linkCode=asn&creative=380341&creativeASIN=B002T11WE6 He also recommends this: http://magicshop.magictricks.com/Super-Duper-Magic-Kit-with-DVD_p_571.html These are a good start. I almost forgot - if you have a VHS player, this is an excellent video for making your own tricks and putting on a show. My child loved it and we made many tricks from this video. Our library carried it. http://www.amazon.com/My-First-Magic-Video-Guide/dp/6303463681 Edited December 9, 2009 by NicksMama-Zack's Mama Too
